About the Role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to drive efficient, high-quality manufacturing of our cable, harness and heating-cable product lines. You will plan and optimise production processes, improve yield and throughput, and work closely with quality and maintenance teams to keep the line running safely and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, monitor and optimise daily production to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
  • Improve process efficiency, yield and cycle time through continuous-improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with quality, maintenance and stores to minimise downtime and rejections.
  • Maintain production records, OEE data and shift reports.
  • Implement and enforce safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
  • Support new-product introduction and process validation.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes for wire, cable or harness products.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and process sheets.
  • Strong coordination, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with production-planning and ERP systems.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with extrusion, drawing, braiding or harness assembly.
  • Exposure to IATF 16949 manufacturing environments.
  • Data analysis and OEE improvement experience.

Certifications (If Applicable)

  • Lean / Six Sigma certification.
  • Certification in industrial safety is an added advantage.
