UL Compliant Motor Lead Wire Engineered for 150°C Varnish Processing
A UL-compliant motor lead wire engineered to withstand varnish impregnation and curing above 150°C without insulation damage or loss of dielectric integrity
-
The Objective
Develop a UL-compliant motor lead wire capable of withstanding varnish impregnation and curing temperatures exceeding 150°C without insulation damage, loss of dielectric integrity, or premature failure.
-
The Problem
The existing motor lead wire was not suited to the varnish baking cycle the customer's manufacturing process demanded. Exposure to elevated temperatures above 150°C was causing insulation risks, brittleness and shrinkage — putting both performance and compliance at risk.
-
What We Did
WIPE hotwire developed a high-temperature, UL-compliant motor lead wire with an insulation system specifically selected for sustained exposure above 150°C. A structured validation program was carried out against the actual application conditions to confirm suitability before deployment.
-
What It Delivered
A fully UL-compliant motor lead wire solution that withstands varnish application temperatures above 150°C, meeting both manufacturing process demands and final motor application compliance requirements.
